What are "projects" for, and how to use them?

Create projects to segment your saved service and ongoing conversations with service providers.

The "Project" feature is a major component of the testing platform. Let's take a closer look at what it's used for, how to use it, and how to get the most out of it.

Without a test project, there is no test

It is important to understand that the actions you will perform on the platform (save a service, take a note, contact a service provider) must be related to a test project.

It is therefore essential to create a project to go further in the use of the platform.

How do I create a project?

You have the opportunity to create your project at each stage where it is necessary for you to select one or more.

When registering a service

For example, when saving a service, you'll need to choose which project to save it for. But you can also create a new one for it and save it to it:

When contacting one or more service providers

You will also be able to create a new project when contacting one or more service providers:

Access an overview of your projects from the "Projects" page, which can be accessed from the side navigation menu on the left side of your screen.

💡 Good to know: Projects are independent depending on the section of the platform on which you created them. A project on the Clinical Testing section of the platform will not be available on the Preclinical Testing section, and vice versa.

Once you've created your test project, use it to make it easier to manage and navigate services when searching.

Saving services

Save your services of interest by project, so you can easily find them from the saved methods page.

Note that a service can be linked to several projects at the same time. That is, you can select more than one of your projects when saving a service.

You will be able to find and filter the registered services from the "Saved services" page:

Take notes directly related to your favorite services, when you save them or later from the "Saved Services" page.

Take different notes on the same service, depending on the project it was saved for.

Contact with service providers

You will also need to select a project when contacting one or more test providers. This will then allow you to segment and filter service providers by project from the messaging system:

💡 Good to know: The project selected when contacting the service providers is personal, and will not be shared with the service providers contacted. They will be able to access the information contained in your request message.

Filtering conversations

Once the service provider(s) have been contacted, you will be able to find them from the "Messaging" page and filter your conversations with the service providers according to the project for which you contacted them!

💡 Good to know: Just like services, a conversation with a service provider can be linked to one or more projects.

Follow-up of your projects

Follow your projects from the "Projects" page, and access all your current projects. Access your saved services and the providers contacted for each of your projects. Change the status of a project from "In Progress" to "Completed" and archive it (coming soon).
