You've come to the right place.

It is through filters that you can create search combinations and refine your criteria to find the most relevant services. Some filters allow you to refine your provider preferences (filters by provider and country), while others are used to refine the definition of the test method that corresponds to your criteria.

Filters are interconnected with each other, which means that their content is conditioned by the previous selections of the other filters.

For example, by first selecting the "Cutometer" from the per-device filter, you will see from the per-claim filter only the claims that can be objectified with the "Cutometer" device.

Conversely, if you first select the "moisturizing" claim from the per-claim filter, you will only see devices from the per-device filter that can validate the "moisturizing" claim.

Once you understand how filters work, you also understand that a lot of information is contained not only in your search results, but also in the remaining available criteria of your search filters.

Indeed, the search results list the services corresponding to the selected criteria, and the providers offering these same services. But filters are a good way to have a global view of the information, by cross-referencing the data.

For example, if we're looking for devices that validate the "moisturizing" claim, we'll first select "moisturizing" from the per-claim filter, and then look in the "device" filter for the remaining available devices to select.

This information is available from your search results, but by looking directly at the filters, you don't have to look at all the services offered to rate the device used.

Each filter allows you to refine your search according to important business criteria. Depending on the market in which you want to launch your cosmetic product, the effect you are looking to claim, the type of results you want... You will find the most suitable service.

Test methods are related to the claims they validate. This way, you can filter services directly with the effects you want to objectify.

There are currently 203 claims listed on the Clinical Testing section of the platform.

This is a very precise filter, allowing you to have an overview of the methods proposed at a stage of the search. The criteria for this filter are usually for one or two methods, so it allows you to refine the results very specifically.

The filter by device allows you to select the instrumentation you want to use for your test project. You will then be able to access all the methods offered, and the providers that have this device around the world.

The degree of technology makes it possible to select quantitative or visual measuring devices according to their specific technological levels.

The higher the degree, the more high-tech the measurement principle, and uses sophisticated optical or physical measurement acquisition technologies and the integration of advanced sensors. Also taken into account are signal analysis methods and data processing with complex and specific algorithms and/or A.I.

In this technological degree, aspects such as accuracy, level of automation, reliability, connectivity, data processing and user interface are not taken into account. It should be noted that a method can be high-tech and not very new.

The degree of novelty makes it possible to select more or less recent quantitative or visual measuring devices. The higher the degree, the newer the principle of measurement. For the instrumentation referenced for Skinobs, we chose the following scale:

Locate the geographic area where you want to take your test. The results will be the tests carried out by the service providers located in the selected areas (headquarters or subsidiaries).

This filter allows you to filter the methods available using devices from a particular instrumentation manufacturer. It is useful in case you have a partnership with a manufacturer, for example.

Directly select the providers whose services you want to appear in your search results. You can also access an overview of the providers offering the services at a certain stage of your search.

What's next, once you've done your search and your results are satisfactory?

You can save the services in your search for later by clicking on the bookmark icon of the desired service:

Each saved service must be linked to a project. You will therefore need to select the project for which you want to register this service, or create a new one.

Once your services of interest have been saved, you can access them from the "Saved methods" tab in the "Search" section of the platform's menu.

You can view services based on the project(s) for which they were saved:

Add notes about services to remind you of certain details. Each note is linked to the service and project(s).

Go to the "Comparison Mode" (coming soon) and then select 2-3 services you want to compare. Edit notes as needed.

Export the comparison interface to easily share information with your teams: make it easier, faster and easier to make a decision.

The last step will be to contact the providers who offer the chosen service. To do this, access the desired service from your saved services, select the service providers you want to contact, and send your request!

Your request will be sent to all selected providers, and you will be able to access their responses from the messaging system, directly from the platform.
