What is Skinobs?

Platform, news media, publications, events… Find out what Skinobs is, and how it drives the testing industry.

Skinobs is a French company based in Aix-les-Bains, in Savoie (73). We drive the testing field for the beauty industry through many and varied services:

1. The testing platform

A true crossroads between science and marketing, the platform lets every player of cosmetics testing search for testing methods to substantiate the claims of their ingredients or finished products, and contact providers directly around the world.

Skinobs has two platforms: one dedicated to preclinical testing, the other to clinical studies.

The preclinical platform

The preclinical platform is dedicated to in vitro, ex vivo and in silico testing methods, and to the related consulting services.

It lets you search for methods by claim, study parameter, type of support and many other criteria. You can also contact providers worldwide there.

The clinical platform

The clinical platform is dedicated to testing methods on volunteers, and to the related consulting services.

It lets thousands of evaluation managers search for the best methods for their products by country, by claim to substantiate, by type of product… and contact the most relevant providers worldwide.

2. The Cosmetics Testing News

Skinobs publishes the Cosmetics Testing News, a media gathering all the latest information and trends of the dermocosmetic testing sector.

By subscribing for free, you receive a weekly newsletter with the latest published articles. The articles then remain available on the Cosmetics Testing News website, and can be filtered by evaluation topic.

3. The publications

Skinobs offers several specialized publications, giving a worldwide landscape of the trends and latest innovations of the testing sector, on specific topics.

The ZOOM

The ZOOM is a free magazine published twice a year. Each issue includes a thematic feature, with scientific articles, articles from Skinobs partner laboratories and interviews.

It is much appreciated for the overview it gives of a topic, through many short articles from a large number of providers.

The FOCUS

The FOCUS is a twice-yearly publication, in the form of a discussion panel between players of the testing sector, on a specific topic, which develops the methodologies and scientific advances on the subject.
